I did this Link and cuccos out of Perler beads for no reason at all honestly. I just have a lot of beads an didn't feel like working on another huge superhero like I have been recently. I also made this huge Bullet Bill based off of a sprite image I found. I plan on framing it today. Its drying on the canvas right now.
Yesterday I did this Perler bead version of Spiral from Marvel Vs. Capcom. This is another one of those designs that I sat on for a very long time not knowing if I could make it or not. Turns out I could. I used an image from a sprite and blew it up 800% which is what I do with a lot of the video game based creations. I love how she came out and need to figure out how to display her.
I did this Rocket Raccoon yesterday based on an animated gif that I found online. I had to change some of the colors especially in the gun because of the multiple shades of gray that were used. I framed it when I finished. I like the way it came out.
I did this Shonuff Perler and put it in a frame this morning based off of a pixel I found. I was gonna do the whole thing but it is too damned big and I do not have enough beads. I like the way this came out and its on the wall already.
I have wanted to do these WrestleFest Perler beads for the longest time and am so happy that I have these sitting on my floor. I made this Ultimate Warrior one last night. I changed up the colors because the ones in the game were bland and grays and blacks. Warrior is colorful as all get out. And huge!
I did this Harley Quinn Perler bead the other day. It was so hard to decide what colors to use and this was definitely one of those designs where I had to stop and stare at it from a few feet away to make sure it even made sense to finish. I like the way it came out. It was based off of a sprite/pixel design I found online. I am gonna have to step away from these styles for a moment because they use up so many of my beads and use shades I just don't ever buy.
I did this Wonder Woman Perler bead today. I have made a few of her before but this is by far my favorite. It is based off of a sprite I found online and I wish I could find out who did it. It fits perfectly with the Powergirl I made a few days back. These will be placed on canvas soon.
I did this Powergirl Perler bead based off of a pixel I found online looking for something else. I did this surprisingly fast but I guess after the other massive things I've been making this would be easy.
A friend asked me why I never made a Perler bead version of myself so I decided to this morning. I couldn't figure out a style but ended up going with a Scott Pilgrim one. I used two poses to create this. I plan on making more for friends soon.
I just framed this using an old pair of jeans as a canvas.
I am finally finished! I completed Mr. X yesterday using way different colors than the video game because those colors suck and I have never owned them. This is the longest project I've done and was fun at times, annoying as all hell at others. Now I need to find canvas for these Streets Of Rage 2.
The last few mornings I have cranked out these Streets Of Rage 2 Perler beads of Fog (the annoying ass motorcycle/sucker punching enemy) and Kusanagi (the annoying sucker punching ninja). I have only Mr. X to do and I can finally get started on planning the mural. I may make a couple more of the regular enemies getting smacked around. I also refuse to make Barbon because he sucks and his pixels are wack.
I did this Perler of Ash from Evil Dead and the Necronomicon based off of an animated gif from Pixel Joint. I was gonna do the whole scene but I just needed a break from doing those Streets Of Rage 2 beads for a minute.
Yesterday and this morning I did these Abadede and Bear from Streets Of Rage 2 Perler beads. I think I have about six more characters to do before I am done. These have been fun but I am not used to sticking to a project for so long. This is teaching my ass patience.
I did this Zamza aka Souther from Streets Of Rage 2 Perler bead. This was the hardest one to make so far because of the strange colors that I do not own and will never own. Strange browns and greens. I still like how this came out and it brings me closer to being finished with these before I do the mural.
